Josh Schwenken
Since 2001, I have played an active role in serving communities in Idaho and beyond. My career in Law Enforcement includes Patrol Officer, Sheriff’s Deputy and civilian Crime Scene Investigator. I also gained training and experience as an Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training Instructor.
I have also had an opportunity to learn and provide Canine Handler training. This includes training Canines for Explosives Detection at St Luke’s Health System (Idaho) as well as PTSD and medical alert needs for clients with a local non-profit. The Canine Program at St. Luke’s Health System has been expanded to including specialized training for the Canine Handlers to utilize their Canines as a calming partner in de-escalation of high risk situations.
I am now using my training and experience in establishing my own Private Consulting Firm with Overwatch Industries LLC.
K9 Heidi
Heidi is a Labrador Retriever with specialized training in Explosives Detection. However, her favorite job is being a partner for those with anxiety and for those who just need the comfort of a dog. Heidi has worked a number of Critical Incident Debriefings for Emergency Medical Staff and has always managed to make a difficult situation a little easier to handle.
